Corey E. Lee
/biography
Corey Lee is currently the Technical Director and Lighting Designer for the Fort Wayne Civic Theatre. Lee is a graduate student at the University of Memphis. Lee received a B.A. in Theatre and a B.S. in Secondary Education with an emphasis in earth/space science from Purdue Fort Wayne (IPFW). Lee graduated from Northrop High School where he was very active in the theatre program. Lee was a lighting designer for The Glass Menagerie, Into the Woods, Picnic, Catch Me If You Can, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Purely Dance 2009 and Purely Dance 2010. Lee was also the co-lighting designer for Oliver! Lee was also the associate light designer for The Hot L Baltimore (IPFW). Lee was the lighting designer for Fort Wayne Summer Music Theatre’s production on Legally Blonde the musical, Hairspray, and 9 to 5. Lee also works as an employee at RDJ Associates Inc.. Lee has also worked with the Arts United Center, Fort Wayne Community School Theatre programs, Arena Dinner Theatre, and the Fort Wayne Youtheatre as either a stage manager, light board operator, soundboard operator, light designer, set designer, fly rail operator, or assistant technical director.
